Coach Jorge Espinoza, Director of Coaching

The Allstars United AYSO Academy Director of Coaching, Jorge Espinoza, is also licensed by the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) and has the highest license given by USSF – “A” License. In 2014 Coach Jorge was part of an International Workshop in England organized by USSF. During the workshop, Coach Jorge visited England Football Association’s state-of-the-art national training center, took part in educational lectures with professional coaches at their Academy, and attended professional training sessions and games. He was able to learn about other international development programs and interact directly with top-level coaches, administrators and players from some of the best clubs in the world. The focus of this workshop will be to observe and interact with coaches from English professional clubs and the FA on how they develop players and coaches. “The Coaching Education Department has placed an emphasis on developing stronger connections with leading countries around the world,” said U.S. Soccer Director of Coaching Education, Dave Chesler. “Spending time with the FA will offer yet another perspective on how to develop players and coaches.”

Jorge has won many championships and awards coaching young boys and girls. He played for the Chile National Team and played professionally in top soccer clubs. He has been the Interim Head Coach and Assistant Coach of the San Jose Clash/Earthquakes of Major League Soccer and the Head Coach of the Mexican National Indoor Men’s Team. He has been elected to the Illinois Soccer Hall of Fame as Youth Coach. His U11 Boys soccer team won the Premiere Bracket in NorCal in Fall, 2013 to become the #1 team in League Play in Northern California. His U13 Girls and U13 Boys teams are in the Finals of the State Cup in their brackets in Fall, 2013.
